This fragrance is much more modern, having been released in August of 2009. It opens with an assortment of spices, aromatic herbs, star anis, mint and bergamot. The heart brings black pepper, rosemary, amber and geranium into the composition. Finally, the base adds myrtle, patchouli, incense and heliotrope. This cologne was launched under the brand house of Annick Goutal. She was a truly fascinating individual and pursued many interested during her lifetime. She worked as a fashion model and pianist for a time until she discovered she had a real gift for designing perfumes. She pursued this endeavor wholeheartedly and opened her first shop in Paris in 1981. Although she passed away in 1999, her daughter now oversees operations.
