My Dad bought Me a small bottle of L'air Du Temps in 1976. I was 16 yrs old. I fell in Love. Used it sparingly. A year later it went through the wash in My pocket it came open, not a drop left. I was devastated. But the whole load smelled amazing. I've only owned one bottle since then. Is a wee bit expensive for Me. But...Fragrance X has My kind of pricing so I intend to Own bottle #3. This perfume was created in 1948 and it still smells glorious! It's one of my favorites now, but I only discovered it this year! (Where have I been?) The fragrance is like the perfect blend of everything. It's a soft fragrance (in other words, it doesn't knock out everyone in a room), but it really lasts. It is clean, fresh and classic. I love it!

I've always loved the way this smells!
This was my signature scent in my twenties. At the time it became very popular and then a copy cat perfume came out and it smelled exactly the same. I'm much, much older now and the copy cat and the original are now passe. Now that I don't smell it everywhere it could be my signature scent again!

Nostalgia
I bought this fragrance out of pure nostalgia thinking about my mom, and this era of classic feminity. I also wanted to get back in time when most fragrances were not sweet or fruity (like it started in the 1990s). I have a hard time adapting to these. Okay, that gives away my age. I recommend this fragrance to everyone from 13 to 100.
I fell in love with this parfum when I was 13 years old. I've never found any parfum that compares to it. I have certain outfits that are always sprayed with only Lar du Temps. I found fabric holds the fragrance longer. I do spray it on myself. Try it you'll love it. My granddaughter is finally old enough to appreciate it. She always loved the way I smell.
