Love the Violette Scent
I like this scent, however the only negative comment about this fragrance is, I have to reapply more often. But the nice decanter makes up for that :) For those who like the Violette scent that is not overpowering, this is a fragrance you will like.

what a beautiful perfume
I received this as a gift from my dear friend. She had given me a sample of it first and I loved it. The bottle and atomizer is so gorgeous.It is also fun to use. The hand creme is a little bit thin but it gives a veil of scent which is very nice. I will be using this perfume forever

Lovely..but violets?...not quite .
This is a really lovely perfume....but. I have been searching for a violet perfume and decided on this one after looking online. There is something reminiscent of violets, but nothing like any violet I have ever smelt. A little powdery for me, and lacking that distinctive scent. It is nice though - old fashioned and warming.

Smells like a true violet
This lovely scent is as close to the real thing as I have ever found. It is my absolute favorite perfume. I have tried over the years various essential oil named "violet" and none of them smell anything like the flower. This scent has never been easy to find in US, so if you wear it you will be unique. It is a very subtle scent that no one really notices unless they are pretty close to you. Personally I don't care for synthetic smelling-perfumy-chemically overpowering-you know, the kind where everyone is waving away the scent after you walk in a room. To boost the scent I use the soap scented by this maker. Trivia: Josephine Bonaparte was famous for her violet perfume.
