Definitely powdery smell. It's sweet. I got a compliment my first day wearing it. He said it smelled good and expensive. Before I bought it, other reviews said people always want to know what they're wearing so they can buy for themselves, and this has been the case for me. I Love it, just wished it had staying power like bright Crystal Versace. It seems to soak into the skin so you don't smell it as much as when you first spray it on. 10/10 otherwise. The notes listed on Fragrantica for this fragrance are accurate, & it's what I used when making a decision to buy. More so for date nights. Wouldn't recommend for places you have to move around a lot. Better if you'll be standing still or if you're neck/wrists/arms will be exposed. Highly recommended this fragrance

I bought this because of the good reviews from youtube. I was underwhelmed. I thought it would be something special but it is just ok. It has that playdoughy smell. It is quite pricey. I would prefer to pay that amount for other perfumes that are much better. The scent also does not hold. It may work for others but not for me.

Didn't love it, but it is nice.
I got the EDT by mistake on this, so that may be part of my issue with this perfume. It is a nice vanilla scent, but it just wasn't interesting and it didn't last as long as I wouod have hoped from a Dior product. I got Dior Addict 2014 a couple of days after this, and although it is less of a vanilla scent, it was much more interesting to me, more spice to it. I may try those two layered and see if that is the kick HP needs. Not awful by any stretch, but I want to try the EDP and see if it gets the depth I am looking for. As is, this is a safe office scent if you keep it light, very inoffensive.

This was a blind buy. I've been wearing Hypnotic Poison EDT, and I love it so much that I decided to see if the EDP would win me over. They both have a similar DNA, but the EDP is definitely more potent and powdery. They are both pretty sweet, but the EDP has this subtle sweetness that lingers hours after application that is addictive. Very similar to the original Poison in that aspect. I usually wear the EDT year-round and layer it with more of a tropical lotion in the warmer months (man-magnet combo), but I have to reserve the EDP for fall and winter. I imagine it being like most heavy hitter fragrances that just bloom on your skin in colder weather. I rate the EDP 100% irresponsible.

Almond is the star of the show in this comforting fragrance. It is long lasting with a nice projection. I consider this a grown woman's fragrance and although it is appropriate for all occasions, I would limit it to cold weather because of its strength.
