Oh My Cat!
This is a rather novel concept - a fragrance that can be worn by both you AND your kitty-cat! The bottle itself is very cute - has a little detachable metal cat-face medallion on the front, and the boxed bottle comes with a sweet little gray felt "caressing cloth" with a satin ribbon handle, that is used to apply the eau de toilette to the feline - you spray a little of the EDT on the cloth and then "gently stroke it on your cat's back and sides." My own feline companion, Jay, is a 16 year old Russian Blue (but he doesn't look a day over 7) was interested immediately as I was opening the box - nose sniffing, whiskers twitching - and he did not object to being stroked with the "caressing cloth" scent applicator. I did apply the scent to the cloth quite sparingly - just one little spritz - just because cats are so sensitive to all smells and I certainly did not want to overpower his olfactory system. But he actually seemed to approve of it, because after a brief period of nasal perusal, he went right back into nap mode. Also, my room-mate (a human female) thought the fragrance was delightful and really pretty, and asked if she could put some on before she left for the day. Then she asked me to order some for her to give as a gift to her daughter, who has two beloved cats of her own. This fragrance is a "purr-fect" gift for anyone who loves cats and enjoys fragrances. I would classify it as a citrusy floral with some woody notes. It is very pleasant and could be worn by anyone regardless of age - or species.

Fur the birds.
I thought the fragrance was for women as it said. I was surprised when it came with a cloth to wipe it on the cat. I let her smell it and she ran under the bed. I sniffed it and tried to join her. I thought I would like the scent because it had some of my favorite ingredients but I couldn't detect them.

Very high class cats
I give my cats a spray when I have friends coming over. Everyone comments how lovely my pets smell. AND I LOVE IT TOO. I have given bottles to my mates for their cats. They can't get over how wonderful it smells. I brought my first bottle in New York. Am overjoyed I can get it in Australia!!

perfume is toxic to cats
perfumes and essential oils are always toxic to cats. They cannot process the chemicals like we can: a very small amount can easily poison a cat's liver. Don't spray perfume on your cat, who will then lick it off. That said, this perfume smells yummy. But not for your cat, who should just smell like... your cat.

Very sweet, but okay
It is a very sweet smell, which is actually made for cats. However, as a human you can also wear it and the fragrance is sweet (vanilla) with some heavy earthy tones. It's quite overpowering at the start, but once it's dried out a bit the smell is pretty good, although it doesn't last too long. The bottle is a brilliant novelty item!
