This is such an inexpensive gem! I am sorry I didn't blind buy it sooner. It's floral, light and smells like FRESH gardenias. For being (what I affectionately call) a cheapie, it lacks synthetic, tacky notes and stays true to it's purely floral heart. I find myself needing to reapply this one, but that's okay. Ok I'm not sure why the reviews for this perfume are so good because I'm pretty easy going when it comes to trying different scents, but this perfume smells absolutely horrible! It smells like Limacol. It's a sickly smell that I associate with hospitals in the 90s. A green sickly sweetish smell. Thankfully although it is quite powerful in the beginning it doesn't last very long. After an hour it faded. Disappointing is the least of it. Definitely try before you buy.

This was a fragrance I grew up smelling in my home. Truly Gardenia scented!
I was at a garden center where I spotted a lovely plant called Gardenia Jasminoides which had the most intoxicating scent to it. I didn't pick it up because it is a bit of a diva, the buds fall off if it doesn't get just the right conditions. But I loved the smell of it so much that I wanted to find a perfume that smelled just like it, and I found that!! And a big bonus is that it is from the line of a true icon, Elizabeth Taylor! It is a gorgeous scent that instantly brings me back to the garden center! I was afraid that it was going to be too mature and overpowering, but it is a fresh scent and not too heavy! Smells just like the flower! The shipping was shockingly FAST to Norway!

I took a chance on Elizabeth Taylor's Gardenia and am so glad I did! If you love gardenias this is a lovely scent!! It smells like the real thing!! As an extra bonus the bottle is very pretty and the price is fantastic!! I wish the fragrance lasted longer, but I will buy it again!!
