History and background of Versace. Gianni Versace was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, on December 2, 1946. It's an excellent cologne that smells great and grabs serious attention, but be aware of not spraying yourself too much. One spray of this Cologne is effective enough to last the whole night. I highly recommend using this at nights because the evening temperatures activates this cologne even more.
