Jil Sander Man Cologne by Jil Sander, Launched in 2007, Jil Sander Man is a woody aromatic fragrance enhanced by floral, powdery, leathery and spicy notes.
This classically masculine cologne opens with top notes of tart, citrusy bergamot blended with soft, earthy tones of violet and the calm aroma of lavender. The middle pleases the senses with a combination of herbal sage and the smoky, woody essence of vetiver. Base notes of cedar, Russian leather and myrrh introduce a clean, austere edge
with a hint of sensuality.
Thierry Wasser and Annick Menardo teamed up to produce this fragrance for the Jil Sander brand. With more than 70 offerings now under its belt, the German label first hit the market in 1979 with its Pure Man and Pure Woman scents. Releasing several new women’s perfumes in 2018, the company enjoys success in both fragrances and its ready-to-wear fashion lines, which have attracted a cult following since their introduction in the 1980s. I have been buying this product since 1990.
One of my wives smelled this cologne and asked if it were my official cologne, I proudly answered 'Yes! It is.', she readily said, then my answer is yes, I'll marry you.
