About Jean Patou
History and background of Jean Patou. Jean Patou was born in Normandy, France, in 1880. Patou's father was a leading tanner (leather maker) and his uncle owned a fur business which Patou joined in 1907. In 1912 Patou opened Maison Parry, a small dressmaking salon in Paris, and sold his entire 1914 collection to one American buyer. His career was then interrupted by the war, which he spent as an army captain.

Just got this today, but I can see I am in love with it right the way. It smells amazingly, and it seems to last on my skin. Never had Jean Patou but I know now that I will only look Jean Patou's perfumes for a while..
So , bottom line, I feel this is strong and it is for evening use, I sprayed a little on my hand and it seems to smell every where I go..so I am in love with it. I can see how it can be too much for other people, but not for me.

Enjoy is the only fragrance that I use. I get compliments from both men and women and seldom encounter anyone else wearing it, making it truly a signature scent. It is difficult to find to purchase so I am a huge FragranceX fan.
