Coming back from a ski trip in Italy in 1981, I discovered this fragrance in a duty-free shop. I was first attracted to the unusual name & packaging. From the very first time I spray a little on my wrist, I knew this was MY fragrance. It has been my only fragrance ever since. Thank goodness for Fragrancex. I am retired with not much money so being able to save at least 25% was great. [...] This was a gift to myself and have enjoyed it immensely.It does not have any remote scent of Musk, which I am allergic to in case you might be too.Also, the name, Ysatis, is just a word that Givenchy created like so many of his beautiful couture designs. Pronounced : ee sa tees with long "e" sounds.It's name is as unusual as its scent. Enjoy.

I'm struggling with this review because I could not find this fragance in Richmond, VA anywhere and so I ordered a very small bottle to sample. Since I can't spray the perfume, it is too weak to notice. The lady I smelt it on smelled incredible, but I have to say this is not the case with me. It was rather dull and this might be why it is not for sale in our area.

      I have used this for over 25 years, but now you can not buy it in the stores, I understand the fragrance has been discontinued. I can not imagine why. It is a wonderful fragrance and has been my signature fragrance. Use the Lotion with the fragrance; It will last all day long. Use the Lotion alone and it too will last all day long.

        I have used Ysatis since 1987! It is my signature. I love it so much, it a beautiful fragrance. I get compliments from complete strangers and friends alike. Even if you spray 1/2 the bottle on yourself, it is still beautiful, never overpowering. I hope it NEVER gets discontinued, I would be in mourning for years!

            I use it everyday. I feel you should not save something that makes you feel good. It's like completing your outfit for the day. I was on a dance floor once and a girl asked if she could rub my arm to get the scent because she loved the smell of course I said no but did tell her where she could purchase it.
