Oscar de la Renta was born in the Dominican Republic and has studied fashion couture in Madrid and Paris. His designs are well know for their feminine and colorful beauty. After launching his own American couture house in 1965, the designer became a Us Citizen in 1971. The fashion icon designed his first fragrance in 1977 and has since continued creating luxurious perfumes and colognes. All products are original, authentic name brands. Lovely
It's pretty and soft but unfortunately I can't smell the fruits. It's sexy in a subtle manner, quite pleasant and the dry down is powdery with a coconut feel to it.

Red Orchid perfume
Subtle and sweet floral I can enjoy any time and for any occasion. Doesn't hold the greatest so have to reapply. The dry down is beautiful soft somewhat powdery smell.

Pleasant berry scent
I have many of the limited editions by Oscar de la Renta and count Bamboo as my top fave, but Red Orchid while alluring is mostly blueberries and not 'orchidy' enough. Coming from a tropical country (Singapore) that has an orchid as its national flower, this doesn't do justice to the orchids I know.
