History and background of Oscar de la Renta. Oscar de la Renta left his native Dominican Republic at 18 years of age to study paitning at the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid. I started using this perfume in the early 1990's and from the beginning loved how I felt wearing it. Got compliments all the time and found it to be my very favorite.Now, I can only find it occasionally at [...] for which I am grateful they carry it.Just concerned it is "old" because it is not available in retail stores now.However, I just bought a new bottle this weekend and will enjoy wearing it every day, now that I will two!!!

I attended the launch of this fragrance in Toronto in 1992, and have worn it ever since. It's a timeless fragrance that is now difficult to find and I receive comments on it everytime I wear it!!
