Classic and Classy
This does bear some resemblance to another timeless favorite (being Youth Dew, but this apparently pre-dates YD) and this has a better price. I have enjoyed many fragrances from this house; they are of good quality and also decent strength. I wear this one to work in the day, and for evening I might apply it a little heavier. It is spicy and resinous, as warm and powdery, with many traditional resins, and the naturalness and tenacity of these basenotes especially, are pleasing. Not wildly innovative, but comforting and definitely elegant.

Use it everyday. Kept an old bottle of my mothers. Would pick it up to smell her. Now I have my own bottle.

Lovely surprise!
I actually thought I was ordering Jungle Gardenia, but must have pressed or ticked the wrong button, however I was not disappointed as this fragrance is beautiful as well. So it turned out a lovely surprise

a vintage but wonderful smell
I loved this fragrance,if you like youth dew,you will adore this,unfortunately,my bottle got broken(I suspect)in transit,so I havnt been able to wear this but the scent seeped into the box it came in.Ive kept the box,(its under my bed)and I can smell this gorgeous fragrance all over my bedroom

My personal Trade Mark - Yes it's me!
I started wearing Tuvara in my mid 20's and am now in my late 60's. I've gone so far as to stock-up on Tuvara when rumored that it would be discontinued or changing ownerships. Later, I found a place to buy old fashioned favorites. Now that Tuvara is really really back again....I want to keep my supply going. I do not want to recommend Tuvara to the masses, as I consider the fragrance to still be one of my personal Trade Marks, as it has remained for over 40 years. I only need a few true buyers and believers in fragrance wear to purscase this most secret of precious aromas in order to keep this most 'beautiful thing going.'
