About Versace
History and background of Versace. Gianni Versace was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, on December 2, 1946. After an apprenticeship at his mother's dressmaking business, he began working as a freelance designer. At age 25, Versace was creating prêt-à-porter collections for top fashion houses of the time, including Genny, Complice and Callaghan.

Walking around O'Hare during a long layover, I walked into one of the Duty Free shops and started to try some of the fragrances that I had not seen before. I threw away all the sample slips that I did not like, but this one stayed with me. I kept smelling the sample and could not get it out of my mind. It smells fresh, clean, and luxurious. It was expensive. I am thankful that FragranceX carries it. I just received it and cannot say enough about how excited I am to wear it.

Before the holiday, as it was stated on the website and a surprise success.
