Composed by three esteemed perfumers, anne flipo, pierre wargnye and dominique ropion the fragrance opens with cardamom with a heart that is strong and virile, with notes of bergamot, lavender and cedar. About Yves Saint Laurent

Yves Saint Laurent History and background of Yves Saint Laurent. Born in 1936, Yves Saint Laurent grew up in Oran, Algeria. At 17, he left for Paris where he showed his drawings to Michel de Brunhoff, director of Vogue, who published several of them immediately. I enjoyed the original L'Homme (in the summer time) but not nearly as much as I am enjoying in La Nuit De L'Homme now. New Luxury & Mystery for the colder days. And with such fragrance full of constructs and tensions they are sure warmer !!
Higly recommend !!

I get why a lot of people would like this one, but unfortunately it's just not for me. I find it a little too sweet, almost unpleasant. Tries a little bit too hard. However YSL have made some great scents, and if you enjoy orientals try Opium EDP - if you can get hold of it. Beats this hands down. Try before you buy.
