Edmond “Ted” Lapidus was born in Paris, France and is of Russian and Jewish descent. In 1951, he started his fashion label after completing an apprenticeship with Christian Dior. His innovations include creating the unisex fashion look, giving haute couture military and safari influences, and bringing blue jeans to the mainstream. Currently, the brand has moved away from haute couture and focuses on accessories and fragrances. The first fragrance was launched with L’Oreal in 1975 but Jacques Bogart Group has been producing new scents for the label since 1983. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

The best smelling shower gel I have ever used in my life. Absolutely love the scent, exotic, sweet, mysterious, and surprisingly hangs around a while after getting out of the shower.

Lapidus is not for everyone !
I do not know a single easy fragrance from Ted Lapidus . Since the very controversial Lapidus pour Homme , divides opinions . If you are looking for a discrete scent , this is really not for . Perhaps in cold climates ( which includes some regions in Brazil ) , it could work . It is very powerful scent , in my skin, but I read some reviews people claiming a low silage and short longevity . So , test it before buying . If you like spices , woods and powerful silage and longevity (possibly, so test it), this fragrance is for you . Maybe , it could be less powerful due to your skin and/or climate conditions . But , if you live in the summer or in warm regions , this fragrance easily become a spice bomb . I really think you can give this fragrance a chance .

Ted Lapidus sure knows how to make some great colognes! This one is truly amazing as I received fantastic compliments on the scent. I loved it myself as it has a long-lasting fragrance that just makes me feel sexy and confident all day. Make this one a must-have in your collection!

Nice, warm fragrance!
spicy and expensive perfume. very warm and masculine and sweet. Long lasting, but not overpowering. loved it. Great to use when going out, but wouldnt recommend daily use.

Black Soul Imperial
Extremely sweet spices over top of dark coffee/woods, with a dangerous black leather accent. I'm not wild about scents this sweet. But i like this one. It has a slightly more adult vibe for a super sweet fragrance.
