    This is my absolute favorite cologne for my husband. Today, for the first time since By was pulled from the market he wore another scent & it was overpowering with an oriental smell. By is special enough for any time - whether we're out on a date or just hanging at home. The scent is subtle but sexy. Miss it so much. Can't find it anywhere but can't cope with today's scent even though it too is manufactured by D&G & currently one of their top sellers. It's a matter of personal taste sometimes but I'm hung up on By.

      This cologne of Dolce and Gabbana I consider to be one of their finest. It has that classic guys' sandlewood fragrance, which is lovely, yet there is more. I find an inherent sweetness to this cologne which I believe is compelling and well done - similar to that in RL "Black". And though they are rather different colognes, the concept is the same. Additionally, there is a slight 'smoke' element too, related to the basic sandlewood fragrance. The smoke and the 'sweet' elements balance each other nicely... And one last thought: I thought I smelled fresh olives! Anyway, a wonderful, sophisticated cologne by D & G.
