This is a great colonge but the bottle I received was so old that the fragrance was gone. I was told to send it back in the same box it came in. I didn't keep that box because I didn't anticipate sending it back. They should have better quality control than this. What a disappointment.

It's my everyday cologne. I've used it for decades. It doesn't last more than an hour or two, unfortunately. Yet-- it puts me in a good mood, and apparently Cary Grant's cologne. Clean, nautical, citrus notes predominate. My other "fall" cologne is Floris Mahon Leather, it's never available. I really can't understand the impressively poor reviews of others here. They should get their sense of smell assessed. This cologne is a true CLASSIC.

I've been using samples of this for years due to the price. I use this as my signature scent because of its versatility. I was under the impression that this fragrance was unisex.
I bought it for myself without testing it first. I trusted reviews I had read that it is a unisex fragrance. It is too masculine for a female to wear, but it is a very nice man's perfume.

great smell, lasts and gets the attention from my wife !
I just ordered it again ! I love clean and fresh smells that last and sticks with you for several hours. Its a complete breath of fresh air i was searching for in a while and I added it to my collection of Channel , Tom ford and few more. Definitely worth the price.

this smells too much like the original paco rabanne and has poor smell and poor performance. I am done buying cologne from you guys, I BOUGHT LIKE 7 OF THEM ANF NOT EVEN ONE WAS GOOD, THEY SEEM EXPIRED OR SOMETHING NOT RIGHT HERE

Over a 100 year old recipe, I would have never guessed
This class smells very modern to me. I did blind buy this, but I knew it was going to agree with me. It's lemon ish, clean and fresh. Do not be confused though, this is not a barbershop fragrance. It's a citrus fragrance. As an older man, I appreciate the class and when looking up fragrances for mature men, this is almost always near the top of the list (Dior Eau Sauvage too). It does not smell one bit dated. It can lean matur, but I believe this is great for any man or woman. It leans a tad on the Mars side, but this would smell so nice on a woman of any age. Let's keep this classic going. You just can't go wrong with it. Perfect for the office. It can be worn for any occasion and year around, so versatile. A real classy and non offensive fragrance. Biggest complaints? Longevity is not great and it's a bit pricey. FragranceX (or competitive with other discounters) has the best price and you can always count on getting the real deal. 9 out of 10.

Classic citrus aromatic
This piqued my interest because it was the signature scent for celebrities dating back to the 1940s. It was also the inspiration for Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino. By today's standards this isn't unique only because it's been copied so much, but it was a trailblazer. This opens with a clean bitter citrus note and as it dries more herbs come into play including cypress, lavender, and rosemary. As this warms up and it's more savory and less sweet than most citrus perfumes on the market. This is perfectly unisex and is blended to perfection. It doesn't smell like pledge wood polish or anything like it. It's a great scent

The good life
It's a perfect fragrance for an older man. AdP Colonia just smells like the good life. This fragrance never fails to put me in a calm, relaxed, good mood. Just 2 sprays and the citrus sparkles brightly in the opening with just a faint hint of florals. Colonia shines in the daytime hours of Spring/Summer; it's scented joy in a bottle. Projection lasts about an hour, before settling into a skin scent. Sillage is subtle, soft, and discreetly discoverable. Colonia wraps me in a luxurious scent bubble of beauty and refinement. The dry down brings out Sandalwood, Musk, Patchouli, Vetiver, Rose, Jasmine, & Amber that's exquisitely homogenized with the citrus, lightly remaining through the finish. Colonia is a very warm, approachable scent that both men and women can enjoy. On me, Colonia takes on a masculine edge with Musk, Amber, & Vetiver. On my wife, the Rose, Lavender, & Jasmine notes seem more pronounced. Longevity is very good on my skin at 6+ hours. There's nothing dated or Edwardian about this 100 year old fragrance. Colonia is a rich, happy, luxurious, natural scent that's worth every penny in my opinion.
