This masculine scent possesses a blend of sparkling mandarin lime, bombay saphire gin, watery green tomato leaf & crisp black currant for its top notes. The middle notes are: white violet, red peppercorn, purple sage, lush melon & riviera lavandin. The bottom notes end creamy fig, blonde birch, sensual amber & sequoia wood. About Halston
History and background of Halston. Roy Halston Frowick was born in Des Moines, Iowa, USA, on 23rd April 1932. He attended the University of Indiana and the Chicago Institute. While still studying, he was designing and selling hats. In 1953, he opened a millinery salon in a Chicago hotel, where his clientele included film actresses Gloria Swanson and Deborah Kerr. He trained briefly with Charles James, the great fashion designer.

As far as judging books by their covers goes, this one is no exception. Looking at the bottle I would have expected something, well, regular, cause that's what the bottle looks like. But I'm glad I tried Unbound as it really is a great fragrance from Halston. I'd reccomend it for daily use as it's light. it does stay rather close to the skin, so it should be applied quite freely. Other than that a great product.

The cologne was great...the container, not so much. It arrived with a dented sprayer tip that had leaked about a 1/4 of the cologne out in the box. Obviously done during manufactoring as the packaging was fine. Emailed Fragrance X and got absolutely NO response from them. This consumer is moving on to greener pastures. Good Luck.
