Zegna Forte Cologne by Ermenegildo Zegna, Zegna Forte is a beautifully blended men's fragrance that fuses rich accords of honey and tobacco with fresh citrus and spice elements. The introduction combines bright, invigorating tones of lemon, mandarin orange, grapefruit and fresh ginger with the light floral and wood nuances of pink pepper. Clean tones of licorice-tinged lavender emerge with lush honey and tobacco leaf as the scent settles on the skin. The final dry down mingles austere, resinous cedar with warm, creamy amber and tonka bean to create a sophisticated, distinctively masculine finish.

Ermenegildo Zegna is an Italian fashion house that got its start creating fine woolen suits. The company began manufacturing in 1910, eventually opening factory and boutique locations in Spain, Switzerland and France. In 2011 the label partnered with Estee Lauder Companies to offer a line of fragrances. Perfumers who have worked under the house include Alberto Morillas, Trudi Loren, Rosendo Mateu, Pierre Negrin, Daniela (Roche) Andrier, Alain Muraour, Harry Fremont, Antoine Lie, Olivier Gillotin, Jacques Cavallier and Frank Voelkl. Hey, everyone, Justin here. And today, I'll be reviewing Zegna Forte by Ermenegildo Zegna, a men's scent released in 2010 as part of the house's celebration of 100 years of creativity. Honey, tobacco, and tonka dominate the scent, supported by opening notes of citrus, ginger, and pink pepper, a heart note of lavender, and base notes of amber and wood. Not good.

I bought this blindly. I sprayed three sprays to my arm and could barely smell it. It didn't really smell good or bad, just really weak. Once it dried down a bit, it didn't smell any stronger, but smelled less appealing. I would just never choose to wear this.

Armani Code + Sauvage

Something like Armani code mixed with Sauvage. You can clearly smell that ambroxan wibe but background is a bit sweeter. It's moderate and elegant.
