Garrigue Cologne by Maitre Parfumeur Et Gantier, Launched in 1988, Garrigue harkens back to ancient times.
Inspired by the arid earth bound by the Mediterranean Sea, this fragrance’s signature is blends of aromatic and fresh spicy accords, bringing to mind the crisp air of trade winds mixed with spices from the Far East. The scent opens with citric notes of zesty bergamot and pungent Amalfi lemon, fruity fragrances perhaps once traded by Italian merchants plying their wares on the coasts. The middle notes even out with the herbal blend of sage, rosemary, thyme, and juniper berries. Finally, the rich, unctuous bottom notes of musk and sandalwood round off the scent with an oily finish. With moderate longevity and heavy to enormous sillage, this scent lasts for an average amount and can fills any room you enter.
This unique perfume was created by noted perfumer Jean-Francois Laporte through his house Maitre Parfumeur Et Ganier. Laporte revolutionized the world of perfume by offering an artisanal alternative to the mass-marketed perfumes of the time.
