Your suggestion is if this is not for a gift then you don't need the fancy packaging so get a tester and save some money, as this was for myself I did just that but it is a lot weeker and the scent does not linger, my wife said " why don't you put on the Baldessarini before we go out" and this is 10 minutes after I've put it on. I have come to the conclusion that the tester is a week sample to let you smell it and doesn't have the strength to last for a night out. I feel disappointed and let down.

I am comparing now this with "HUGO BOSS Bottle". I have to say that first, it kind of smell alike. Secondly, the BOSS bottle fragance is much better, long-lasting, cleanest smell... Ambre doesn`t hold much.

A fab daylight Colone with arousal notes
This product suits my many daytime events, some of which are special. Apart from the aroma notes listed there appears to be, to the untrained nose, a background of chocolate. I love this as do the ladies. Some colognes you can't smell once they're applied but this one tends to mildly change 'identity' and releases subtle notes on me physically changing direction. Fab.

I have been looking hi and low for this one, everywhere I've gone I've gotten mixed answers "oh we dont carry it" "its spoiled by now, dont waste your time" "if its in the box and no light hits it, its good for years" that last one was all I needed to hear. found it right here and at a great price, and smells just as I remembered, fantastic. Is a bit weak but I think that has more to do with how thick the clothes you are wearing are, wool sweaters need a ton for it to show, but plain ol' cotton shirts are good for just a conservative dabble as you would normally do. As long as they keep selling this here, I'll keep on buying ambre.

I love this stuff
I have been a cologne user for over 40 years, and I can honestly say that this fragrance is by far the best cologne I have ever used. I am constantly getting compliments from both women and men, and inquiries as to what it is and where to get it.
