I first smelled this in a magazine about 3 years ago. I saw the ad with the sample strip, knew of Hilary Duff - didn't care for her acting, loathed her music, & assumed it was going to be a sickly-sweet teeny-bopper type of scent. NOT AT ALL! This is a great scent; very unique & I've never smelled anything like it before. I can't even begin to describe it. And if by some miracle I was able to do so, nothing I can say would ever do it justice. You just have to smell it for yourself. It has many different layers/notes; all combining to make a seductive sensory *experience*. The first bottle I had was given to me as a gift by my mother because I'd been raving about it when she'd make her weekly phone call to me. Since then, I've bought 3 of the 3.4oz bottles on my own and always have a few of the super-minis in stock for back-ups to put in my purse. Truth be told, nowadays I don't wear it as often, but that's just because I have at least 50 perfumes in my collection (I'm an addict who has several "signature" scents, I can't pick just one!)... but I wear this several days a month (which is saying something, trust me). I hope it never gets discontinued. And now I can buy it on fragrancex at a great bargain! The bottle is attractive; the packaging it comes in is gorgeous - and the combo kits they come out with are high quality & make for great gifts (expensive-looking presentation). The last time I bought With Love from fragrancex, I bought it in the 3.4oz+Lotion+Candle kit ... I can't bring myself to light the candle. Maybe I will if I buy another combo kit for the back up... haha. BUY IT, LOVE IT, share if you must (and you will be hounded by your girlfriends, trust me).

    On first spray, you get the sweet, cheery scent from the mangosteen. I worried the fruitiness was going to lead to another predictable celeb scent. Thankfully, it does not! The cocobolo wood and spices emerge and make the scent thicker and more complex. Although the mangosteen in a key player in this fragrance, the wood is the most dominant scent to me. I don't get a distinct "spicy" scent, because the spices are well-blended with the woods and amber. The result is a creamy-balsamic scent. There's nothing overly sweet in this fragrance. As it dries down, you get more dry, creamy, resinous woods with a hint of tartness and some lingering fruit. Very warm and sensual.

    I think this would be great in cool weather, but it could also work for spring and summer. Despite the woodiness, it's not a heavy scent. The juicy, airy quality of the mangosteen fruit and blossoms balance out the woods nicely.

    With Love is fun, sexy, sultry….and unique! Even a hint mysterious. It's hard to believe I'm saying that about a celeb scent, but this is a rare one. At the same time, it's pleasant and I imagine quite wearable for many people. Highly impressed

      I am surprised by how much I like this scent. I was given a few samples and I've been wearing it more than anything else lately. It smells very musky to me when first applied but when it dries and settles it smells warm, spicy and sweet. I really love the way it smells on my skin. It seems much more sophisticated than most of the other celebrity perfumes I've tried. It seems like she realized that perfume doesn't just have to smell like sugary syrup which unfortunately a lot of other celebs do with their scents. I will definitely be buying this one again and I would recommend it to women who want to smell pretty but mature instead of like a lollipop.

        Really interesting for a celebrity fragrance. Not as sweet or sugary as I expected from Hilary and this is quite mature!

        With Love is one of my favorites. It was one of those scents that I tried on, and then later wondered what smelled so fabulous, and finally realized it was me! What an excellent dry down. I find it pleasantly different from anything I've ever come accross.
