I first was given Ma Griffe as a present when I was 17 from a young man aged 20. We had started dating just a few months earlier and been spending a lot of time together, getting closer by the day. The young man had to go away for a month and we missed each other immensely, we exchanged letters and upon his return he presented me with my gift. We were married and years later we visited Europe and I found Ma Griffe once again. Now that young girl and her man are over 50 and have been married 35 years. I searched the internet for my favourite fragrance and was overjoyed to once again purchase that all familiar and most significant perfume, thank you.

I bought Ma Griffe because my Mum said she loved it,and I'd read many reviews about it which made me look forward to receiving it, but I was dissapointed when I tried it. On me it started off sharp and strong with a wet tree bark smell which after an hour or so faded to cinnamon cookies. Eventually it settled down to old age pensioners wearing to much floral talcum powder on a hot day. My husband absolutely hates it, he said it smells of old ladies.( How he knows I don't!?) I will either give it away as a present to an elderly relative who might love it, or put it on [...]

    I have been wearing this fragrance since I was 21 years old. I had an elegant roommate who used it as her signature fragrance. I loved it so much that I started wearing it. She got mad but it was worth it. Now, 43 years later, I am SO grateful to be able to order MaGriffe from FragranceX. For years, friends would scour outlet stores, etc. to try to find for me. Now I can easily order and continue smelling wonderful. I hope they remember to spray it on me when I die!
