Thierry Mugler was a dancer, window dresser, and freelance designer before he created his first fashion collection for women in 1973. Five years later, he opened his first boutique in Paris and launched his first menswear collection. He is known for adding fantasy elements and futuristic shapes, which helped him gain fame in the 1980s for power fashions. Working with Clarins Fragrance Group, he launched his first fragrance in 1992 and introduced gourmand, a new fragrance category and trend, by using sweet and food notes. Eesh, what is this ??
I bought the sample and... it just does not smell good. It is an awfully powerful smell, like a cleaning product. I did not even try wearing as it smelled extremely strong. My mom, dad and boyfriend all smelled it and said it was a terrible, terrible perfume. Will not buy again, fragrancex has been great but the product is just horrid.

Rose patchouli bomb!
Wonderful strong perfume, highly recommended to those who adore Angel flankers especially innocent. Dominating patchouli aroma, yet not heavy of heady and could wear it even in the summer. The rose in not strong though, while it is spicy enough to keep it very interesting. I am sure if you start collecting Mugler perfumes you would never stop doing it because the secret lies in the formulation and you become a Mugler addict. I am thinking of trying the whole Garden collection. Super choice!

Angel Garden Of Stars - La Rose Angel
The only one of the Angels, with whom I could start a friendship. Spring is very beautiful smells like pepper rose, shrouded in mist patchouli, bergamot. The aroma is melancholic, romantic nature, but it is very subjectively)) But for me, in that only the cool spring along the embankments in dresses walking)

still waiting for shipment since 3 weeks
we are still waiting for our shipment since 3 weeks. We already have complained 2 times at your customer support (Leanna), but did not receive qualified help so far. tracking the shipment via dhl shows no move since 26th of December. This is unacceptable for us. We expect that you either resend our order or you cancel the order and reimburse the money. We are highly dissatisfied and disappointed. I just completed the click boxes above to get this complaint sent.

crazy parfume
La Rose opens with a fruity rose. I'm not too keen on rose perfumes, but this rose is fresh and infused with plum and bergamot. Some time later the famous patchouli and chocolate combo appear, but they are still covert by a lovely veil of rose. The patchouli, though intense, is not as strong, heady or dirty as in the original Angel. I believe that is thanks to a softer chocolate, with more caramel thrown in. The drydown stays fresh, despite the heavy gourmand notes. It reminds me somewhat of Innocent by the same house. La Rose is a lovely, lighter rendition of the heavy gourmand classic, and it's quite beautiful. Try it.

A subtler angel
I Am a massive Angel fan, have worn it for years, but sometimes wished for a lighter version with all the wow. I chose to sample this mainly as my name is Rose and I love it. Not as strong as the original but a lovely lingering sense of angel with a more flowery note

Strong, Feminine, Rosy, Gourmand, Spicy
I only bought a sample of this one and from what I gather, a little goes a long way as it's more concentrated. It's a beautiful smell, but it won't last long and you can't over dose yourself. It would be perfect to layer with the matching lotion or any from the angel collection to make it stay. It's very luxurious to wear and necessary for a femme fatal to add to her vanity. Oozing with sweet spicy roses dripping in dark caramel.

Had smelt angel - but never angel rose, took a gamble on 2 counts - never smelt it and also ordering from america to UK. was sooooo very pleased with everything. delivery, excellent perfume lovely - not as harsh as angel - but has the same twang! love it, will buy again when needing

Angel Rose
Initially the perfume seems strong but warms down to a long-lasting powdery and amber or musk-like scent which is quite nice. Because of the initial power of the perfume, I would recommend it for evening; however, I apply it early in the am so by the time I get to work, the scent has softened and usually lasts most of the day.

fantastic perfume, yet too pricey!!!
ok...i looooooove this perfume but, it is very expensive and very week. i have to re-apply it... then the beautiful& lovely bottle is empty. i want to get all "ANGEL" flowers perfumes and their refiles but ican not affored them...sadly.

Another Heavenly Angel!
I bought the body lotion without ever having smelled it. At first, I wasn't so sure as I was hit with a blast of floral much like Angel Violette (which I don't like), but after it settled, it smelt amazing. I love the original Angel and the dry-down in this one is very similar. I could see myself wearing this in the summer as it's a little lighter than Angel. The biggest drawback is the price; even the lotion isn't cheap! I really like how they mixed the floral top notes in with a sexy, sensual base. Nicely done frag! Do try this one, especially if you like the original. One word of caution-wait for it to develop before you decide!:)

Double feelings
I guess my body chemistry isn't compatible with all Thierry Mugler's fragrances (I have 'Angel Rose', 'Angel Lily', 'Angel Peony' and 'Angel Violet') and I have the same problem with them all - the middle notes smells like sweat on my skin, but I really love the drydown, so when I use these perfumes I apply them a couple hours before I need to go out. Owerall - it is sweet, strong and long lasting perfume for special occasions.

I love smell of roses and this perfume gives a very deep and long lasting aroma. You should be carefull not to spray too much of it though because it could be overpowering.

Very sweet
Smells like rose candy. The chocolate and patchouli notes from the original Angel don't appear until far into the dry-down. It's way too sweet for me.

Intriguing and mysterious
Soft and rich in the beginning with a strong robust finish, I like to wear Angel Rose when I want to be noticed or admired. Its mysterious qualities take to my skin, which make it unforgettable. However, Angel Rose is not an everyday scent, but that makes it even more enjoyable regardless.

Rosy perfection - far from angelic!
Angel La Rose fragrance and body lotion used together are just sublime. You will want to keep these products a secret so that they become your signature scent - deliciously rosy but with Angel's unique extra ingredients. La Rose is not as easy to find as original Angel, which makes it just a little more special to me.

I have the Angel Rose, Angel Peony and Angel Lilly and they are all great they last long time and your body heat kicks it into gear its awesome and it seems as if I have noticed men over 45 really seem attracted to it more than men under 45 go figure! Either way this stuff rocks!!
