Baghari Perfume by Robert Piguet, First of five fragrances to be reformulated by the house of piguet, this is a sophisticated floral/chypre for women . The scent was reformulated by perfumer aurelian guichard. The fragrance features aldehydes, iris, amber, musk, violet, vanilla, jasmine, vetiver, neroli, bergamot and bulgarian rose. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

About Robert Piguet

Robert Piguet History and background of Robert Piguet. Robert Piguet was born in Yverdon, Switzerland in 1901. After training as a banker, Piguet went to Paris in 1918, where he worked with REDFERN and POIRET. He founded his own salon in 1933. He hired or used designs by many famous designers, as well as using his own designs. Antonio Castillo worked from 1936 to 1944, Christian DIOR worked from 1938 to 1942. Read more about Robert Piguet

      This is a sensational chypre. If you like Chanel No 5 you'll adore this as my friend did. People ask what it is. It is a great lunching with the ladies or wedding scent. I think it lends itself to the more mature sophisticated person.

      This starts off with a bit of dried orange peel then simmers down to this warm and sensual earthy calm with a hint of woods. After about an hour the sillage is pretty low so it's ok for work as it ends up close to the skin. I wish it lasted longer and had just a bit more volume. I heard it is a close representation of the origional but not quite the powerhouse. I hate that it is so expensive but i would but it again at the same price because i love it so much!

          Elegant and classic fragrance, but not heavy or difficult to wear. It's darker and more mysterious version of Chanel No 5. Dark and creamy aldehydes make this fragrance unique and memorable.

          Baghari named after Indian town, was introduced 1950. Discrete aldehyde giving it vibrancy with fresh with fresh notes, and jasmine.

          Sensual background of vanilla amber and musk. And woody notes, comes from vetiver, violet, and iris. Iris leaves trail of powdery softness in drydown of this perfume.

          The new Baghari (in this case) is softer then original Baghari.

          But all in same, this new Baghari is much more versatile and people who love soft powdery romantic perfumes with a lipstick feel to them will love it.

            As a long time fan of Fracas, I decided to try Baghari in order to have a softer day time fragrance. I love it. It's a perfect floral daytime fragrance and it is longlasting too. I only spray once or twice in the morning and I find that the scent is still quite as strong at the day's end.
