About Annick Goutal

Annick Goutal History and background of Annick Goutal. Goutal blossomed late, coming to perfume making after a career as a prizewinning pianist and model. She then met a man, separated from him, found herself alone with a baby (her daughter Camille), was diagnosed with breast cancer and married her childhood sweetheart. This fragrance is just lovely. I have been using it for nearly 20 years. But don't be mislead by the description that it is a unisex fragrance - the men's version is more spicy, smells a bit like dried citrus peels and tend to last longer on the skin. The women's version is much sweeter and fresher but does not last as long on the skin.

I bought the parfum, thinking it may be stronger and last longer than the Eau de toilette I previously purchaed. However it was more money but not more powerful and the scented faded out completely within a 2-3 hours. A nice fragrance, but save yourself money and buy the Eau de toilette.

      I bought this bottle of Eau d'Hadrien EDP as I had the EDT and found the fragrance didn't seem to last on me. I love the gentle citrus with undertones of cypress ... it's such a lovely, refreshing scent for the heat of summer.Interestingly, I searched throughout south Florida for the EDP last month (not available in Canada), but everywhere was sold out.And what a wonderful suprise! I paid $90 for 50 ml of the EDT in Canada some time ago - Fragrance X was selling the EDP for only [$] Cdn, and the bottle is twice the size! This was my first purchase from Fragrance X, and won't be my last - for stocking hard to find perfumes, for great shipping, and great prices.
