First off - I love vanilla - Though I am put off by many of the other "flavors" Demeter creates, this smells exactly like a freshly baked cake, with a cool down of cinnamon and vanilla, and is a very satisfying scent. And it isn't like wearing cake batter in the least! It is surprisingly spicey. I've used Bellodgia by Caron for years, and though it is completely different, (no carnations here!) it has that same warmth and spice. I work in a school, and it's an inexpensive, light hearted scent to use everyday - I notice that people (and children) come close to smell me and I'm very approachable when wearing it, which I think is what a good scent should do. If you love vanilla, try it. It's light, so you have to reapply it, but it is great if you are around people with allergies who can't handle heavy scent.
