This is a wonderful fragrance! Virgin Island Water by Creed is a great value on FragranceX.
Hints of lime and coconut immediatly conjure thoughts of summer and the ocean.
It is slightly overpowering at first, but then settles into a lovely fresh scent. It doesn't last throughout the day, I need to reapply at night before going out. But I would prefer that any day than something that was overpowering..

This IS my signature fragrance....the one scent I can wear every single day and never get tired of it. The scent reminds me of sunshine, surf and tropical drinks in the classiest possible way. It's amazing balance of tart limes, creamy coconut, ginger, sugar cane,rum and the ocean. It's my Caribbean vacation in a bottle. I generally hate any perfume containing coconut, and I certainly never expected to fall so in love with this one, but the balance is absolutely perfect and not over done. My only complaint is that for the exceedingly high price of Creed perfumes, it's not long lasting at all. The scent lasts a maximum of 3 hours...if you're lucky. That being said, I still adore this scent and will probably wear it as long as Creed keeps producing it and I can afford to buy it.

A "happy pill" in a bottle! This is my sixth Creed. Virgin Island Water deviates from the standard Creed signature. It's a deliciously light, summery fragrance. The opening notes are limes, limes and more limes. Beautiful, natural lime essences. The coconut rapidly makes its presence known and it smells like real coconut that's remarkably evocative of tropical islands and exotic cocktails. There are also some subtle floral notes in the heart (jasmine?). The only downside is its longevity, particularly the limes which disappear too quickly. But that's the nature of natural citrus oils unfortunately. The upside of that is: you have the perfect excuse to re-spray as often as you like!
