History and background of Gianfranco Ferre. A native of Legnamo, Italy, Gianfranco Ferre studied architecture from Politechnico Milan. After graduation, he was a freelance jewelry designer for four years, until he launched his own label in 1974.

When I first sprayed it I did not like the scent. It smelled slightly aggessive (not sure if that was the kumquat), but just a few minutes later it turned into a wonderful oriental fruity flowery scent, a round potpurri of nice scent combinations. Different to many, somehow sweet, but not too sweet, that is suitable for women (not only girls):

This is a nice, intoxicating scent for flower lovers. It has a radiant blackberry in the top note which I really liked. After it settled down, I changed my mind. It was too heavy and matured for my taste.
I like it anyway, smells as classy as a Ferre should smell.
