As the founder of his eponymous company, Kenzo Takada has helped shape his brand into the influencer it is today. Prior to moving to Paris, he lived in Japan and graduated from Tokyo's Bunka Fashion College, which had just begun to take male students. He moved to Paris in 1964 to make his way in the fashion world. His first store, called Jungle Jap, opened in 1970. After many years of success, the business was acquired by Lvmh, and Takada stayed on until his 1999 retirement. All products are original, authentic name brands.
