L'Heure Bleue by Guerlain is a classic that genuinely lives up to its distinguished heritage. The aniseed note at the top lingers into the heart, and the florals are skillfully blended without being overly sweet or cloying, with the famous Guerlinade at the base. I think it's a unique fragrance, unlike anything else out there; I find it has a soothing quality to it, but not melancholy as some reviewers have said. As long as you don't overapply, it is subtle and clean, yet still beautiful and elegant, and can easily be a unisex frag. Definitely found my signature scent! The EDP seems for me to be the perfect balance in the range and the best value, but is hard to find, even online -- especially in 75ml spray which uses the classic bottle design like the parfum -- thank you very much fragranceX for carrying this item, which you also offered at a great price[...]

It is definitely floral in nature - but with a very powdery finish. In the beginning, I did not like this, but it is growing on me.

      This is THE perfume that makes me feel like a Woman. It emphasises the little black dress, gives ambiguousness to the jeans-and-shirt outfit, and I just love it!
      The fact that the bottle is just beautiful just adds to the luxurious feeling I get when I take it down from it's shelf in the morning.

          It's great because it's different, mostly because it is not available in Ca. at any store. I've been wearing this since 1965, then it dissapeared around 1978. I even tried to special order it! I found it inthe airport in London, bought as much as I could afford. I then went to a department store and asked to get in touch with a buyer(product rep. for Guerlain), he contacted me & told me about Bergdorf Goodman in N.Y. where I've been getting it ever since. I also found out through them that they also have a skin care line, they sent me samples. Every time they have a special they call me so I can order at that time.
          LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!
