    Lots of fruit and florals in the top and heart, but Rumba does not come off as sweet; instead it is passionate and rich. The dance it is named after is hot and sensual and this perfume epitomises it perfectly. It has a sensuality that is for women who are daring, and who want to be noticed. Top notes: Peach, plum. Middle notes are oriental-floral, composed of orchid, magnolia, jasmine and tuberose. Base notes of amber, vanilla, moss and leather.

    I wanted the "original" RUMBA by Balenciaga ; instead I got something that says on the bottle "TED LAPIDUS" ; don't get me wrong ; [...], - its not exactly the same ; I wanted the packaging to be identical to what I have used in the past ; the smell is NOT exactly the same ; but its nice enough - have given it to my mum and have now re-ordered today what hopefully will be the ABSOLUTE ORIGINAL "RUMBA" BY BALENCIAGA PLEASE THANKS

          I started buying this after smelling it on a friend, then my sister started buying it after smelling it on me, then our mum, then my sister in law. I always get comments on it. It starts off woody and heavy but easily settles into a sweeter calmer scent. Has a night time feel to it but I wear it all times of day. It has the classic heavy start to it but settles into a more modern take of a classic perfume. I use lots of different scents to suit seasons, events and moods. But one I will always have on my dresser is Rumba.
