About Versace
History and background of Versace. Gianni Versace was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, on December 2, 1946. After an apprenticeship at his mother's dressmaking business, he began working as a freelance designer. I love this perfume! I love wearing it for special occasions. It is long lasting, too. I love the bottle because it has an angel face carved into the glass bottle. It's so pretty! This makes such a special gift at Christmas because it has the angel face carved in it. That's when I received mine as a gift from my parents. I love it!
