Comments about Bond No. 9 Nuits De Noho Perfume:

Wow, what an unusual scent.
The big price tag was at first a barrier, but I was so taken by the sample vial that I bought it for myself for a special occasion. The label claims the original NYC neighborhood of NoHo but I would place it rather on a tropical island, mainly because of its predominant pineapple/lime/graps top notes aroma. The pineapple lingers throughout and is an interesting contrast to the other persistent soft line of all sorts of subtle, woodsy - never sharp or mossy - aromas. It wears well in the heat and stays true to scent in the dry down.
I experimented by adding a soft halo of Eau de Shalimar - which was not really necessary - but ...
Well, the two scents harmonize well, just as expected: the mist of Shalimar being the top and the fading Bond No. 9 Nuits de NoHo the foundation. Love that combination.
I don't regret the high price of Bond No. 9 NdN because this is one perfume that I can rely on.
