About Jean Patou

Jean Patou History and background of Jean Patou. Jean Patou was born in Normandy, France, in 1880. Patou's father was a leading tanner (leather maker) and his uncle owned a fur business which Patou joined in 1907. In 1912 Patou opened Maison Parry, a small dressmaking salon in Paris, and sold his entire 1914 collection to one American buyer.       at first the scent reminded me of my younger days eating a toffee apple candy and then flows to into a sweet floral.I experimented - too sweet for me but ok for my youngest daughter and i'll stick to loving Joy by Patou. FragranceX prices are the lowest and thus we can try many - as they say variety is the spice of life

          I love this fragrance first bought it overseas. So rare and to find it in EDP perrrrrrrrrrrfect.
          Smell's like honey and sweet's all mixed together almost edible. My day was so complete when my parcel arrived today.
