      It was a present for my wife. She got Santa María Novella Violet in Florence. I love Yardleys products so I said, lets try this Violet one; it didn´t disappoint us. Very interesting scent, with a light vanilla background.

        This is one of the better violet scents for those of use who love violets. I was distracted when I bought it and didn't notice that it is eau de toilette; I think that accounts for the very light scent and the fact that it doesn't hold. I will buy this again, but will look for the eau de cologne or eau de parfum.
