Berdoues is the fragrance house founded by brothers Pierre and Guillaume in Toulouse, France in 1902. The company’s first foray into the beauty industry centered around being professional salon equipment and perfume wholesalers. In the 1930s, Guillaume’s son, Henri, a chemical engineer, joined the business as a perfumer and created Violette de Toulouse in 1936. By the 1940s, the brand became known for its fragrance products, which were distributed worldwide. Grandson Pierre updated the company’s manufacturing facility with an automated production plant and a research laboratory in the 1960s and currently, great-granddaughter Sophie Berdoues is the chief executive officer of Group Berdoues Parfums et Cosmetiques. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

A bit on the sweet side for me
It's strong coming out of the bottle, but not long lasting. It's got a very sweet smell but is true to both the vanilla and the patchouli. I was hoping for something more subtle.

Sexy ;)
This fragrance is just what I have been looking for! It is a woody oriental with just enough vanilla to make the dark chocolate really pop; and if you're a fan of chocolate in perfume like I am, your going to love this one! Just sexy...

Been a loyal fan of Patchouli since 1965 and always looking for scents where it is a topnote. The patchouli is well hidden in this one, so, if you like the scent of vanilla, this one is for you.
