Opium Eau D'orient Fleur De Shanghai Perfume by Yves Saint Laurent, Floral and oriental accords make up a large part of the composition for Opium Eau d'Orient Fleur De Shanghai. This fragrance was introduced in 2005.
It features a stunning composition that opens with notes of orange blossom, mandarin and bergamot. The core of the profile consists of trachelospermum, myrrh, star jasmine, magnolia and carnation. At the bottom are scents of vanilla, patchouli and amber.
Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurnet, professionally known as Yves Saint Laurent, knew from a young age he wanted to be a fashion designer. When he was a young boy, he would frequently design dresses for his sisters and mother. By the time he was 17, his creations caught the eyes of professionals in the industry. At this time, he would go on to work for Christian Dior as his assistant. He passed away in 2008, but his legacy lives on in each product, from apparel to fragrances, bearing his name. Absolutely fabulous!
This is delicious!! I've worn ALL OF THE VARIATIONS of Opium by YSL.This is the classic, best, most lovely of all...The original, CANNOT BE INTERPRETED, by no perfume! But, Shanghai, did it!! Classy, sexy, sharp & "diva" for real.

Perfect scent
I can use this perfume for any occasion. It compliments my style. I have specific taste and wouldn't wear just any perfume. The only problem with this perfume is that it seems to be hard to find a replacement bottle.
