It's not good... Sour yogurt scent
This doesn't smell like sweet vanilla cake at all.... It has the most awful sour yogurt smell that is very off-putting. I really wanted to like this but I don't get a yummy, sugary, vanilla cake scent... I just get this horrible sour smell! Definitely do not recommend.

Ruined my dress!!
I liked this perfume a lot, it smelled really nice. But then I was getting ready for my friends wedding, I was a bridesmaid, and it RUINED MY DRESS. I had big oily marks all over me that we couldn't get out and to my horror they showed up in every single photo I'm in!! Not only am I totally embarrassed but what I saved on perfume cost me an expensive dress. I'm so angry and sad, I'll never order a cheap perfume again!

LOVE IT
This seriously smells so good. The one thing I'd say is I thought it would smell more like a cake and instead it smells like a cinnamon roll. It's a good cinnamon roll though haha and I'm kinda obsessed with it. I get so many compliments and it lasts all day< would definitely buy again!

Personally not what I expected...
So I love gourmand fragrances ones that make me feel yummy. And for me personally I only smelled the vanilla cake batter for 10 seconds and then it was just some old fragrant oil smell on me. I tried to give it time to see if I was just nose blind to it but it just didn't make the cut for me. Disappointed because no its not most expensive thing in the world but I did pay money and it just didn't meet I feel even a $1 of my expectations.

Not impressed.
This perfume is terrible. The scent notes are completely incorrect as there is no vanilla scent at all. It's supposed to be a gourmand scent but smells nothing like it. It has a terrible smell that I can't even describe and the perfume itself is oily feeling in a strange, unnatural way. I do not recommend this at all.

Lovely smell, but vanishes quickly
I bought this scent and the Cotton Candy one. They both smell fantastic, I really enjoyed both of them and I love that they are as described as I wanted sweet and yummy. The problem is they feel really oily, they make my skin oily so would hate to put them on my clothes. Also I don't know if its just because of my skin but they don't last at all. I can barely smell them 5 minutes later so have asked others and they cannot smell them either. So disappointing as I do as I said really like how they smell.

NASTY TIMES 100!!!!!!!!
It is a horrible smelling product. What's worse, FragranceX doesn't back up their products 100% like they claim. I asked if I could get my money refunded because I was so unhappy, they said, return the product and pay for the shipping and handling and we'll give you back your money. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ONE....If they cared about my business they would have offered free shipping. It's a DISGUSTING product......My wrist has broken out in a rash after testing this product. It smells like rubbing alcohol with a cheap and sickly sweet overtone!!!!!! DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING IT!!!!!

First off - I love vanilla - Though I am put off by many of the other "flavors" Demeter creates, this smells exactly like a freshly baked cake, with a cool down of cinnamon and vanilla, and is a very satisfying scent. And it isn't like wearing cake batter in the least! It is surprisingly spicey. I've used Bellodgia by Caron for years, and though it is completely different, (no carnations here!) it has that same warmth and spice. I work in a school, and it's an inexpensive, light hearted scent to use everyday - I notice that people (and children) come close to smell me and I'm very approachable when wearing it, which I think is what a good scent should do. If you love vanilla, try it. It's light, so you have to reapply it, but it is great if you are around people with allergies who can't handle heavy scent.
