With a background in fashion, hair styling, perfume, photography and film, Serge Lutens is a multi-talented artist. His first significant job was in Lille, France as a hairstylist where he learned to appreciate beauty in three dimensions. He later worked at Vogue magazine creating jewelry, hair and makeup in 1962. be reviewing Jeux de Peau
by Serge Lutens, a sweet,
woody, milky scent that
first launched in 2011.
It opens with strong top
notes of milk and wheat,
leading into heart notes
of coconut, licorice,
and immortelle
flowers, and ending
in base notes of apricot,
wood, amber, spices,
sandalwood, and osmanthus.
I love it for fall
and winter wear,
and I'm really impressed
by its great longevity.
