Pretty Hot Perfume by Elizabeth Arden, Released in 2011, Pretty Hot was born out of perfumer Claude Dir’s fascination with the night-blooming cereus, also called the “belle de nuit" or “queen of the night” - a cactus whose flowers bloom briefly during hot summer nights. The perfume’s intense, seductive aroma is fit to match this almost mystical flower. A blend of red fruits - apple, blood orange, red currant - along with mandarin and freesia open the fragrance, leading into the heart where the queen of the night resides, joined by the peony and cedar scents of Givaudan’s synthetic Petalia and Georgywood molecules. The musky-amber base, enhanced by tonka and sandalwood, sustains the warmth of the fragrance well after application.

Elizabeth Arden brought innovation to cosmetics and women’s skincare in America since the company’s founding in 1910, from popularizing the “makeover” and eye makeup to building a worldwide empire of Red Door spas. Fragrances, originally a relatively minor product, grew in focus towards the end of the 20th century, though the brand still produces cosmetics under its name. Beautiful Fragrance!

I am a long time fan and user of Elizabeth Arden's Pretty. I just realized a couple of months ago that there was another version named "Pretty Hot". I sampled the version at a local retailer and liked it. However, it was too pricey for my budget. I shopped at Fragrance X and was elated they carried the fragrance. I purchased the fragrance and it arrived timely. I love! love! love the smell. I use it several times a week.

Excellent

I got this perfume for a great deal, and I tried it on yesterday for the first time. It is definitely a long-lasting and strong scent. It smells so great and it lingers. When I woke up this morning, I still smelled it on myself! It has such a sexy scent, and I got many compliments in it thus far since I usually only wear light scents like Vera Wang's Princess and Marc Jacob's Daisy. Definitely recommend,
