This product was launched in 1998 by Bvlgari. Perfumer Annick Menardo is the mastermind behind the scent. Bvlgari spans back to 1884. It was founded by the Greek immigrant Sotirios Voulgaris in Italy and gradually grew into a luxury retail powerhouse offering jewelry, watches and handbags. The company also started a chain of hotels in addition to releasing some of the finest scents on the market. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

This isn't the right smell, apparently.
I bought this for my boyfriend. It's a scent that's discontinued. I saw this and was super excited because I love the way it smells. He told me immediately when he put it on that it wasn't the right scent. Super disappointed- I spent a lot of money on it for it not to be the right smell.

Very satisfied
I've been using this cologne for quite some time. I've always loved it. I had no idea it's a unisex as I always found it in the men's section, but perhaps that had something to do with getting complimented a few times while on a date though I can't say I can imagine a girl wearing this. First time buying it online and FragranceX has exceeded my expectations. Processed quickly, and it arrived a day early.

OLD STANDBY - BLACK BLACK !
I've been a loyal Black user for years. Cant figure out why it was discontinued ?? I have had had so many positive reactions to this scent. It is a really a woman pleaser potent but not overpowering - I will definitely stick by my Black ! johnny

Polarizing scent
BB's opening recalls tire rubber but then warms up into a cozy woody vanilla scent with notes of black tea. I quite enjoy wearing it, and love smelling it on my guy.

Best price and only 10 days from US to country Australia :)
Love the fragrance and my first bottle several years ago lasted and lasted - however I think that Bvlgari must have changed the mix somewhat as it's a lighter fragrance nowadays, which doesn't last nearly as long. Having said that, I still like it, I still get compliments and frangrancex supplies at a great price. Very happy with the short delivery time too, consider frangrancex is in America and I live outside a small country town in Australia. In summary, until I find a fragrance I like better, I'll continue to use this one.

A cup of tea ?
I really like Lapsang Souchong tea : a very subtle tea with a delicious smoky taste (the tea leaves are smoked on pine fires). As many Bulgari fragrances, Black is based upon a tea : Lapsang Souchong. The smoky aspect may first appear like burnt rubber, a total metaphor for a crowded city, but then the softer aspect of powdery vanilla takes place and you feel at home. To my opinion, more suitable for men but enjoyable for women too !

Bvlgari Black is still the best...
Attractive, unique smell. The women love it, especially Latin American women (no empirical data, just happens to be my impression/experience in Miami), and I personally think it smells great as well. It's distinctive, lasts for several hours, and will cause the ol' girl to cling--decide if that's good or not for yourself--so use with caution...

Masculine and sensual
This fragrance has a subtle scent and yet communicates pure masculinity. The tobacco depth of this fragrance draws so many compliments yet you can appreciate other scents, including those of others around you. It has a very distinct boundary. It blends very well with perspiration to intensity the scent. It communicates masculinity and confidence. Although it has a tobacco scent, it is pleasing to the nose. It has a hint of sweet tobacco, the kind that is smoked on a pipe. This time I got the tester instead because the original bottle has a fancy spray mechanism that broke on my last bottle--go for the tester!

subtle and classic scent
I get positive comments all the time. I'm a physician and I can't wear an overpowering scent. It's very subtle. I'm known for the doctor that smells goo. Usually i'll walk into a room and someone will comment that something smell nice and they'll walk around and sniff everyone. They all want to get it for their significant other.

This is my perfect fragrance, but it took a few days to adjust to such an unusual scent. You need to step outside the box, when you do it becomes compulsive. It does have a rubber-like quality, but that doesn't at all sum up this great fragrance. Love it ( as a woman's fragrance) No, I would not recommend it to a friend, it's mine!
