Timeless Scent
One of the best scents for MEN (emphasis included) that is timeless and can be worn in any decade. Just be sure that you can carry this masculine scent that exudes James Bond vibes. Truly a masterpiece of the 20th century, however it is reformulated and weaker.

Nothing savage, this is pure sophistication
This is one of the best citrus blends anywhere. It speaks of refinement and elegance rather than the clubbing, spring break scene. In addition to its shining blend of citruses and florals, it adds gravity with a slight woody base. Maybe it's not for everyone, but then more's the pity.

Is it possible to feel nostalgic of a time you never existed in? That's what I feel here. Upon smelling this I was brought back to the early 70s entering a barbershop. I was born in the late 80s but this smell clearly brings back something of the past in a fashionably awesome way. Classic, citrusy smell. Although as wonderful as it is, I don't think everyone can pull it off. I feel like you absolutely must wear a proper suit or a dress shirt with this. It's as elegant as can be. Only thing is, it doesn't really last long. Not even to the skin.

Sophisticated and Elegant
Customer service was great as I had a question before ordering. Delivery was fast and I received one day earlier than estimated. 100% authentic. Eau Sauvage edp. This is for the sophisticated, classy and more mature audience. I find the scent to be smokey citrus, woody and spicy. On my skin it projects for 4 hours and lasts for around 8 hours as a skin scent. Inoffensive and quiet elegance. I would not wear this in hot weather as it would be cloying.

Try Before Buying
Definitely not for everyone. I really wanted to like this scent because it is highly rated and contains hedione. I tried it out for three days and found it to be nauseating and off-putting each day. I wound up giving it away. A lot of people like it and you may very well too, however based on my experience I would recommend that you buy and sample or decant online before committing to the whole bottle (or try in a department store once Corona is over).

This is great stuff. Opens with bright, dense citrus notes that transition to an amazing mid of lavender, hedione, and vetiver. Very good balance between fresh, earthy, sweet, and spicy. Finishes with a vetiver, elemi drydown that is resinous and slightly spicy. Great stuff. Lasts 10+ hours on my skin. High quality feel throughout. No off notes to my nose. The quality is very apparent. This review is for Eau Sauvage PARFUM.

I love this fragrance. I got the parfum concentration. It can be overpowering so I only use 3 sprays. I'll mostly reserve it for special occasions. Super classic and classy scent. Very manly but it has a sweet dry down.

The classic - still top of the line
The opening of Eau Sauvage is one the best to ever be created. There's a reason this fragrance has been around since the 60's and still sells well. And don't think just because it's a classic fragrance from the 60's that it smells like a grandpa - this stuff smells amazing even today in 2020. It has its signature bright, fresh super citrus opening that dries down into a beautiful blend of herbs mixing in with the citrus. The bottle itself is also really cool to have displayed. A masterpiece from Dior.

EAU SAVAGE
I first got DIor's Eau Savage aftershave and I fell in love with it. I don't normally like lemon scents but this takes my breath away. This would be up there to another citrus exception of mine; Malle's Bigarde Concentree. In fact the smell similar. Convinced, I bought Dior's Eau Savage EDParfum thinking it would be a stronger potent of the an EDT. But I was disappointed that it's not even similar. What I hate abt it is the powdery dry down. Upon spraying it was tolerable. The vibe was sexy yet opulent. But the instant sophistication gives way to this sweet velvety scent that overpowers any undertones. Applied a bit more then you might be accused of giving someone a headache churned from eating too much sugar after giving one to yourself. I am not a fan and I don't know if the EDT is anything close to the aftershave. Or is it the cologne closer to it? Anyone can help?

I have used Eau Suavage After Shave and Eau de Toilet for 22 years and will continue to do so. However, I am extremely disappointed with FragranceX failure to my repeated request to purchase the After Shave in 6.8 oz size. Why is FragranceX ignoring me. I have been a loyal FragranceX customer for 10 years.

Review for dior eau de sauvage parfum(2017 formula) Im so excited until i open the box,it was a white box(2017 version)testing sprayed to my arm.first impressions is i think i prefer dior sauvage over this.i thought i got the 2016 vintage formula so its a bit disappointed because all the hype review about the vintage formula was good. I never smell the vintage formula so i don't know what is smelled like.the 2017 was a citrusy,then after a dry down u can smelled a vetiver and elemi.the projection is strong not sure bout the longevity. So my final thoughts is its just a regular fragrance for me.not so hyped bout this.if you ask me,i will definitely choose the sauvage over this one.

Utter disappointment - all promise and no delivery!
All my life I have used Largerfeld Photo (sadly no longer available) and evening in the evening people would say they could stilldetect the beautiful fragrance I had applied that morning after my shower - not over powering but subtle and lingering.. Eau Sauvage is just so great and promising when applied but the fragrance so very quickly and completely disappears - a complete waste of money and such a disappointment.

great classic that will live on forever
this is just one of those classics that you can blind buy without regret. this is a mature scent for sure so not for the high school crowd unless if you like to sport a classy frag. perfect for the office and everyday use and definitely a signature scent. bright citrus opening that dries down to a woodsy and vetiver base. this frag is 50 years old now and still as good as the day it came out. only issue is the longevity, i get max 4-6 hours with only 1-2 hours of projection.
