History and background of Armand Basi. The Basi's family background in the textile industry began in hte early 1940's when mercedes Sabi established the original knitwear workshop in Barcelona. The small workshop mianly specialised in producing carefully crafted knitwear in Scottish yarn and this was sold to a number of top high quality Barceona clothing stores.
