This was a blind buy and I will never buy it again.
Sorry for the negative review but in all honesty, I really don't like this cologne at all. I guess that is what I get for blind buying it. I can't believe money was put into mass producing this stuff. NEVER AGAIN.

bought by mistake
hated meself for buying this. i wanted animale animale. my bad. cant blame anybody. i kinda like it after a few trials though. i maybe able to enjoy it anyway. will definitely decant this to share with my friends. might just keep 50ml for me.

A Strange Beast
First time I used it, lasted 8 plus - next time I used it, lasted 2 hours....realized you have to spray it right on your skin not in the air close to your skin. The weird burnt orange intro will transition to a nice scent. It's not for everyone but it's not weird.

Allergy concerns
I have been using a selected choice of colognes for many years, instead of an aftershave. Spraying this cologne on my cheeks, chin and neck resulted in an allergic reaction, a red rash under my chin and across my neck. FragranceX response was to say: "Colognes should not be used as an aftershave, especially immediately after shaving." This is despite never having such a reaction before using the other FragranceX supplied Colognes.

A potent, sweet fragrance that I wouldn't dare put on in the summer, but it falls short of "powerhouse" status both in terms of projection and complexity. The pineapple/honey vibe is there throughout most of its lifetime, with the sweetness dying down towards the end. SIMILAR: Here are some similar fragrances. I've been using this since the 90s when it was new. It's not the same as it used to be. It seems the manufacturers are scrimping on the essential oils. A weak version of its former self. It's a great classic scent but it fades out quickly. I bought two bottles but probably will go with something else in the future.

Been wearing this a really long time- since the 90's. Its one of those fragrances that has coffee, cocoa, patchouli, a little bit of tobacco, its a masculine, interesting blend. It has really nice projection and its hangs around, especially if you put a little on your clothing. It was made for clubbing.

oldschool gourmand
if you're into gourmand scents like me this is a must have if you like angel men/pure malt/pure havane then is is a must buy for you not exactly the same as the previously mentioned but i do find it to smell exactly like angel the women's version some people find it dated which i don't,overall this is a well blended scent and keep in mind that this came out a couple years before angel men a definite buy in my opinion.
