Amazing scent..so longlasting a Parfum version of the La P
It is indescribable beautiful. At first I thought that it is too different from the Eau de Parfum version( that I also bought).. but of course it is- as it is more concentrated, it is a Parfum. The scent that develops after an hour is very similar to that one of the Eau de Parfum but it stays on much ,much longer.

I love this Perfume
This is my second bottle of La Panthere. The second one I have is limited edition so it's more intricate than this bottle. This can be worn in any weather, hot or cold. This perfume has a very powerful silage, anyone can smell you from a distance and the longevity is also great. It lasts me a whole day so spending 100 is definitely worth it. The scent is also very elegant & mature so this suits women who are in their 30's and up and women who are into classic taste.

Been wanting to get my hands on a bottle of the Parfum version, I've experienced the Eau De Parfum and Edition Soir which are both great. This is nice, deep, mossy gardenia with apricot and patchouli. A bit potpourri at first though. However I'd say the Eau De Parfum version is the way to go for a more versatile experience with this fragrance.

This is one of my classy perfumes
To me this perfume is very reminiscent of one of Sisley's perfumes., but not as expensive. A lot of people do ask me as to what perfume I am wearing. Knowing that it is made by Cartier makes me feel special even though I am nearly 75yrs old. Even Coco Chanel in her 80's would not go out without wearing her perfume and she still was asked by men the name of the perfume she was wearing. So ladies never give up wearing your favourite perfume or experimenting with other ones.

Now with this fragrance it's a bit complicated our relationship. The first mistake I made with it is I wore it in summer and boy did it overwhelm me, I felt so sorry for the people in the car with me. Second mistake, I put it on and immediately after I went out. My tips with this one would be to wear in winter, it's beautiful and long lasting in winter and can withstand the cold, another tip is spray this one as you get ready so it has time to dry down and simmer down because if not it will be very overpowering and almost smell bad because of the animalistic musk. It is a good scent just use the tips I above and tread lightly lol. Overall good buy though because I don't hate it! In fact I like it.

I just received Cartier le Panthere. The bottle captures a glass carving print of a panther in the background; that would make a bold statement on your vanity. The fragrance is elegant, effervescent, and graceful with floral notes of rose--fruity notes of rhubarb and apricot--woody and earthy notes of patchouli and oakmoss that uplifts its composition to a floral-fruity-chypre accord. I get faint echo floral notes of New Chloe; but not as floral forward as New Chloe. Cartier is a bit more fruity forward. And, I love its sensuality! I would wear this for special evenings over dinner and champagne. It is more distinctively and redolently worn in Fall/Winter where the fragrance reaches its best performance peak. Scent Life: 6-8 hours. Sillage: 8/10.

OMG this suffocates me
It is overpowering. I love gardenia notes, but the musk is just to much for me here. The whole composition it is interesting and unique, however I don't like the synthetic notes in this perfume. I had to return it.

I have the original and the Legere. Both are lovely modern chypres, but the Legere is substantially lighter and perhaps better for summer. These are not your old school chypres, they are more diaphanous. Think of it as a starter Chypre. My five year old son says it smells like (clean) toilet paper And he's not wrong. So there's that.
