Issues with Aventus
Is anyone else noticing the fragrance isn't lasting as long and seems to be less "oil" I'm not noticing the smell on my shirts and the fragrance seems to have an alcohol smell.

My opinion of the base completely flipped. I found it terrible before, but it lasted forever. Now its the opposite -- I like it a lot, but it doesn't last. Glitch in the matrix, or perhaps my olfactory senses? Same vial!

Best Opening Ever - Disappointing Base
The pineapple/citrus opening is fresh and natural. Dry down is ok. One 'part' of the base is great, but there is a 'fleshy' odor mixed in that reminds me of times when I was sick. (bacteria in sinuses can cause strange sweet odor)

Fragrance was weak
FragranceX is my go to for Creed, however the recent purchase had to be returned because it was sooooo weak that within minutes no smell at all. And I still have, half a bottle left I don't know if this was a batch made for South Africa but it did NOT hold at all. Very disappointing.

Buy from legit stores
I compared the Aventus I got from fragranceX and the one from Harry Rosen. There was an obvious difference. The one from Harry Rosen was an alluring scent that lasted for days (which is why I fell in love with it). The one I got from FragranceX was a very watered version of it that smelt very weak and disappeared within 15 mins. Very disappointed.

Well worth the price
Coming back to Minnesota from Texas this Thanksgiving Holiday 2021, after my dad had a very bad car accident; that ended up ending his life. Sprayed this on around 8:30 am on Black Friday . Even after sleeping in our car for a few hours, at the Texas/Oklahoma state line rest area. And starting our journey back up at 6 am that Saturday morning. Sometime around 3pm or so. We stopped in Kansas or Missouri for some coffee at this convenience store. And the guy working the cash register asked me: Are you wearing cologne? I replied yes, and he asked what I was wearing, cause I smelled so good. I gladly told him and showed him the bottle. Have to say. This wasn't the first compliment on this trip. That Creed Aventus turned some heads and people had to approach and tell me how good I smelled. But I'm surprised how good I smelled even after smoking nasty cigarettes on this trip. And people could still smell this fragrance . Even after 10 hours or more and only applied only once to my body. Just a couple of days ago at the grocery store. Was wearing this fragrance and when I stepped up to the cashier- She said wooow, you smell good!!!! Glad I purchased Creed Aventus and the Green Irish Tweed.

I trust FragranceX enough to say the bottle I bought is real. I'm just saying the scent is extremely overrated for this price. I'm in an Aventus Creed FB group and it came so highly recommended but I also now know Creed comes in different batches. So maybe this batch just isn't all of that. It just wasn't worth the hype at all. Tom Ford Oud is a better fragrance for about the same price.

Best smell ever for a guy!
I had read and read about this fragrance, and was scared to buy it because it was so expensive so I ordered a sample of it. Man was I blown away!!! This has the best smell ever for a guy!!!
