Beware! Not the same Light Blue
I feel bamboozled … for a second time. I have purchased Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue from FragranceX in the past but after my most recent order, it will be my last. So, not too long ago, Dolce & Gabbana changed Light Blue slightly - it's subtle but it now has a more faint scent and frankly, it's not as good. With this "lighter" version came new packaging as well. Again, it's subtle but noticeable. The frosted, opaque glass bottle that used to have a slight rounded curve to the sides of the top of the bottle are now more squared off and in place of the metallic silver cap is a Tiffany blue plastic cap. The logo and font remain the same and the velvet-like box it comes in has leaned away from the gray to a more light blue shade - again, subtle but noticeable. On my last order, when the new bottle arrived in the unfamiliar packaging, I assumed that I had made a mistake so when I received the email from FragranceX last week displaying the original bottle with the claim "almost sold out!" I knew I had to order as I've been missing the original version. I clicked through the website noticing that the pictures next to the product displayed some with the original look and others with the new look. I was certain to select an option showing the original bottle. Imagine my surprise when yet again, the new version arrived. Very displeased and feel like it's an unfair business practice to include pictures of what your selling that are not the actual product. Had I wanted to buy this new, inferior version, I would have selected that version but your site clearly displays both. If you do not in fact have the original in stock, remove the picture as it's false advertising. I would have spent money elsewhere!

Nostalgic
I really loved the Eau Intense but I feel like I need a little bit more of projection so I figured I'd get the EDT and spray it on my clothing while I apply the EDP on skin (for special occasions). Also, I figured I can use Eau Intense for a whole day event and just use the EDT for a quick meet-up of lunch date. I am happy, too, that even the batch code for this one didn't give me any information, the smell proves to be authentic enough for me. I know and I trust that FragranceX won't sell knock-offs and bring good name into disrepute. I wish they could give more promo deals for their loyal customers.
