Watery- Not the fragrance I remember
I bought this for my husband when we dated in the 1980's and we always loved it. Whatever we received pales in comparison. I don't know if your fragrances are expired. The fragrance was weak and watery. I know the eau de cologne is lighter than the perfume. IT WAS NOT WORTH THE COST! The prices are not discounted. After I purchased it I checked the price. It was just the same as ALL THE DEPARTMENT STORES.

My signature fragance.
This is supposed to be the classic or original Gentleman scent, however it is not. Having said that, it is close enough to keep buying it as it used to be my dad's signature scent and it has become mine now. FraganceX is, as usual, a great company to do business with, shipping is fast and the packaging is always very carefully done. I never have had a complaint with them in this regard.

Perfume not as strong
I'd only owned this fragrance for two weeks and strangely it had lost quite a bit of the potency it had before, which is a shame because this is one of my favourite scents whether this is due to reformulation or Fragrance X's promise of no knock offs isn't strictly true,I don't know but I am disappointed.

I used to wear Givenchy Pi but after starting my fragrance collection I'm now very diversified with my choices of colognes and fragrances I tend to lean towards.I must say as a blind buy I am very pleased with Givenchy Gentleman, I do feel the intial spray is quite strong but just give it a few minutes as it starts drying down towards other notes because the scent you get is a pleasant surprise and it is on my list of go to scents.

I have been buying the original Gentleman by Givenchy since

Iris, floral, fruity wonderfulness. Love this scent. Catch myself sniffing my wrist throughout the day. It doesn't last forever, but I get a solid 5-6 hours of the mild projection that I prefer. It lasts much longer on clothes than on skin, so you'll continue to get a few lovely sniffs from clothes long after it has become a close skin scent.
